Dog Rescue
Dog rescue is Petitude's main advocacy. We at Petitude believe that our companion animals are entitled to a permanent home and a loving family who will ensure our furry pals' health and safety.
In February 2010, Petitude inked partnership with Dog Rescue Newcastle, a volunteer group dedicated to the rescue of abandoned, neglected or abused companion animals. The organisation rescues dogs and cats from death row at local pounds and put them into loving foster homes until they are permanently re-homed.
Petitude launched the Shop for a Cause advocacy campaign and donates 10% of the sales generated through the special coupon code SHOP4ACAUSE to Dog Rescue Newcastle. Just recently, the company also released a special newsletter to help raise funds for a rescued dog who needs immediate veterinary care.
Besides sending monetary donations and pet items to Dog Rescue Newcastle, Petitude also features pets for adoption in its newsletters and so far has helped re-home 5 out of 7 featured Adopt Me pets.
Petitude also publishes pet adoption articles and pet care guides on its blog to help disseminate information on proper pet care and promote pet adoption and responsible pet ownership among its customers, newsletter subscribers, blog readers and website visitors.
